Remembering Old Yorkville

Historian Kathy Jolowicz is doing everything she can to keep the memory of Old Yorkville alive. While major retail stores and luxury high rises characterize much of this pocket of the Upper East Side today, Jolowicz remembers Yorkville between the 1930s and 60s when it was internationally known as Germantown. She is the founder of The Yorkville/Kleindeutschland Historical Society.
