Voices from the “Bronxites Will Not Tolerate Any Form of Bigotry in Our Borough” Rally

About 50 members of the Bronx’s LGBT community and their supporters gathered on the steps of the county courthouse on Tuesday, October 26, to denounce the hate crime involving three gay men earlier this month, and to encourage State Senator, Ruben Diaz, Sr. to take a stronger stand against discrimination based on sexual orientation.

The crowd was made of up several organizations based in the Bronx, including Bronx for Change and the NYC LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Below are three perspectives from the rally:
