Service disruptions always seem to happen at the worst possible time–before you can finish that e-mail, just as the download bar hits 99%, in the middle of a pirated TV show. Researchers from the WinLab at Rutgers University are not only working to make sure you never miss another episode of Jersey Shore, but is also trying to change how devices communicate with one another in ways we cannot see.
